Another pattern to crochet then felt. We were pleased to find this crochet pattern from Designs by KN, the pattern is well written and easy to read in good sized font that is spaced well on light colored paper.
 | Directions include two bags, a Shoulder bag which measures 13 inch by 13 inch before felting and approximately 10 inches wide by 9 inches high after felting. The smaller Notions bag measures 7 inch by 7 inch before felting and approximately 5 inches wide by 5 inches high after felting. You can use bulky weight yarn or two strands of worsted weight for the gauge of 2 dc equals 1 inch and 2 rows dc equals 2 inches with a size N hook. The bags are worked in rounds from bottom to top, working from both sides of starting chain to form a seamless tube. If you choose to use more than one color as shown in the photo, the directions for Color Changes are included in the pattern. The felting is done in the washing machine and the directions are the best I have read for crochet or knit patterns.A note in the pattern says not to use white, off white or superwash wool; that does not apply to our Natural Marr Haven yarn since it is not chemically treated. |
