pattern alone is $5.75
The Kimono Cardigan is VERY EASY. A great project for beginner knitters who can knit and purl. It is knit with sport weight yarn in one piece from the lower back to the lower front with optional button closure, then you join the underarm and side seams with a yarn needle. Suggested knitting needle is size 6. The instructions are written out with a nice graphic of how you are knitting. It is worn with the purl side out to show the complimentary ridge rows and is called reverse stocking (stockinette) stitch - still just knit 1 row, purl 1 row.

It can be knit in 3 lengths: to the waist, hip (shown in photo) and above the knee. There are 5 adult sizes; 32 inch to 52 inch finished bust (XS to XXL)

One cone of Marr Haven sport weight yarn would make sizes 32, 36, 40 and 44 inch for $39.75 in the hip length shown. Size 48 and 52 inch would take one cone plus 4 ounces for $48.25 in the hip length shown. The Sport Kit includes your color choice Marr Haven Yarn sport weight and pattern.

You can see the Green Heather one I knit for myself in the first photo on the Felt United 2010 page.
