Entrelac Purse is a shaped design featuring the entrelac technique in seed and garter stitch, knit from the top down. It has a buttoned closing flap. The purse can be knit in worsted or chunky weight to give you 2 sizes. The small is about 12" wide, 8" high, 2" deep, knit with one or 2 colors of worsted wt. yarn on US size 6 or 7 needles with a total yardage of 460 yards. The large size is about 18" wide, 14" high, 3" deep knit with Chunky yarn on US 10 or 10.5 needles, yardage of 590 yards. The Entrelac Scarf is also known as the Stock and Barrel design. It comes in standard pattern format with 4 pages including the written directions and hand drawn chart illustrations for one end of the scarf to be done in 2 colors and one end knit with 3 or 4 colors to give you two choices of designs. You can knit them as shown or the same design on each end.. Gauge is about 5 st per inch, a loose guide, total yardage used is 1,020 in sport weight. A one pound cone of Marr Haven sport weight would be enough for one scarf plus a hat and pair of mittens all in the Entrelac Solid Color patterns.
