 | Make a jaunty Felted Beret using these easy-to-knit, easy-to-felt pattern instructions. You can knit it in a solid color or a mix of colors for one-of-a-kind creativity! Sized for Small (up to hat size 7) [Medium (hat sizes 7 to 8), Large (hat size 8 or larger)]. Allow approximately 4 ½ [5, 5 ½] 2-ply worsted weight wool yarn (not superwash). The yarn is used doubled throughout with 3 stitches/inch (before felting) on size US 11 / 8 mm, 24 inch circular and double point needles. Instructions to felt in a washing machine is included. Diamonds is a handsome man's V-neck pullover vest in a clean-cut textured
pattern stitch. Knitted circularly with no seams to sew. There are 3 sizes, 39(44 ½,50)". | The Side-to-Side Dickey is made starting at one shoulder of the yoke and is worked in stockinette stitch with moss stitch borders across the front and back sections to the other shoulder. Stitches for the turtleneck are then picked up along the yoke neckline and knit in ribbing. There are 3 sizes - small-up to 13" neck, [medium - 14" to 16", large - 17" +]. You need 200 [225, 250] yards of worsted weight yarn. Stitch gauge is 5 stitches/inch, suggested needle size is US 7 / 4.5 mm.. Written stitch instructions. | The 3-to-2 bias shaping in the body of the sweater gives
you flattering design and drape. This is a great pattern for variegated yarns
or multiple yarns of similar weight knit in easy stripes. A simple 3-step worksheet
is included for you to determine yardage requirements and suggested needle sizes
for any desired size sweater measurements in fingering through bulky weight yarns.
Written stitch instructions. Your sweater begins with a small triangle that also serves as your sample - no need to pre-swatch!
