Author Lynne Farris has shared her love of needle felting on several occasions with the Carol Duvall HGTV audience. Now you can have her by your side as you learn the basics plus much more in the newest fiber art, needle felting.

Lynne begins with a brief paragraph about felting and some of the types of felting then gets right into the tools and materials you need plus a couple of optional items like the Embellisher machine.

The first of the 8 projects is to use needle felting as surface embellishment, the color pictures are well posed with step by step text to help you along. She also gives 4 different variations of this form. Next project is a mosaic appliqué, all with color photos and text. The other projects are; crating felt fabric from roving, dimensional felt sculpting, millefiori buttons and beads, creating designs with stencils, stained glass felting with yarn plus painting with fiber - color blending. Each project has tips for finishing and ideas on where and how to get designs plus much more. Four of the projects have templates you may copy in the back of the book.

Fast, Fun & Easy Needle Felting is 8 1/2 inches by 11 inches with 48 pages $14.95
