Felting needles are very sharp and need a dense, soft base under the fiber to protect yourself and the needle. This form is made of commercially dense soft foam.

The rectangular foam form can be used for scarves, (see the vest
below made from 2 scarves) and needle felted purses, as well as a solid base to fit in your lap while you needle felt scupltured animals, figures or toys. The foam form is 10 in. x 15 in. long, 2 in. thick Foam Rectangular Form is $10.00. A needle felted scarf is shown to the left of the foam form.
