There are 4 Felting Needles one 36 gauge triangle for general felting, two 38 gauge star point has more sides, faster than 36, more resistant to breaking than 40 and one 40 gauge triangle for fine fiber and detail. A 7 1/2 inch by 5 1/2 inch, 2 inch thick Foam Pad for a work surface and Instuctions for a Heart Shaped Coaster. Fiber is not included with the kit. 1/07 So many customers have reported they prefer having a different felting tool for the different sizes of felting needles. We are now packaging the 8 needle tool with 38 gauge needles. The 3 styles of felting tools will now each have one set of needles in different sizes. You can still remove and/or replace any or all of the felting needles in each tool so if you want to use less than the tool is designed for, it is okay and easy to change. The prices are still the same.

| Felting needles need a dense, soft base under the fiber to protect yourself and the needle. These forms are made of commercially dense soft foam. There are 3 hat forms, 5 inch high will cover your ears, 4 inch high will make a brimmed hat with the round base form.
