This is an 8mm Habotai silk scarf which was first hand painted with Emerald Green Jacquard Dye to simulate a leaf pattern the length of the scarf, then a simple shibori technique added graduated stripes across the length of the scarf with overdyeing. The main petal of the flower design is needlefelted with a jeweltone top, outlined with a solid color merino top. Three leaves extending beyond the flower are also needle felted with top of solid color merino greens. |
