This top down coat begins at the top of the
hood and proceeds to a long and elegant conclusion, wrapping closed and
secured with a belt in sizes from x-small to x large.
The pattern is sized for X-Small- 36 inch chest, Small- 40 inch chest, Medium- 44 inch chest, Large- 48 inch chest and X-Large- 52 inch chest. The length for all sizes is 38 inches. It is knitted with worsted weight yarn on size 7 and 9 needles with a stitch gauge of 16 sts equal 4 inches. This sweater is knit in one piece beginning at the top of the hood. The front band is knit as you go in garter stitch. A kit to make size X-Small is $74.50, size Small is $83.00. A kit to make Medium or Large is $91.50. size X-Large is $100.00.
