The lambs wool roving was knit following Suzanne Pufpaff's pattern, Simple Knitting with Roving Projects. We split the roving length in half and used size 17 circular needles. I didn't dye enough so had to adjust the pattern for the green vase. The grey vase was made according to the pattern using the medium grey lambswool roving and light grey lambswool roving. The size of the vase could be made smaller by splitting the roving in 1/3's or 1/4's and using smaller needles.
The colors in the before and after picture are not the same because the before picture was taken at night with all artificial light. The after picture is the actual color of the dyed roving (at least on my monitor).
