Marr Haven Merino - Rambouillet Special Lambswool Roving

This is a felted sample of the Light Grey Lambswool Roving with noils.

I only felted a single layer so there are some open spots in the felted piece. The noils felt smoothly into the piece yet are still obvious since they are natural white lambs wool. Makes a wonderful textural piece as it is or dyed.

The Light Grey has 10% natural colored black wool blended with the natural white lambs wool. The Medium Grey has 40% natural colored black wool blended with the natural white lambs wool.

The pictures below show a needle felted teddy made with the Light Grey Lambswool Roving. The landscape is wet felted with 3 ounces of Natural, and half ounce each of Light Grey and Medium Grey. The first 2 layers are all Natural, the 3rd layer has all 3 Lambswool colors with a minute amount of dyed top for design.
