Uniquely Felt is $24.95
Uniquely Felt by Christine White is the most comprehensive felting book I have read. She begins at the 'beginning' with a brief history of felt, what fibers will felt and how it happens, written in such an interesting way that makes it exciting even to those who are experienced felters. She thoroughly explains the differences in felting, fulling, prefelt, wool terminology and felting equipment.

Several Featured Artists add their comments or suggestions including; Sharon Costello with Needle Felting pointers and a fun project, Pat Spark, Andrea Graham, Chad Alice Hagan, Mehmet Girgic, Nicole Chazaud Telaar, Beth Beede, Polly Stirling, Lori Flood, Jorie Johnson and Linda Van Alstyne.

The book has 46 creative projects, again beginning at the beginning: learning to make and attach cords, add colors for a jellyroll, prefelt, carving felt, upholstery yardage, 3 D seamless wearables and home decor items, shaping hats with several unique variations, nuno felting, cobweb felt, working large pieces, teaching feltmaking, framing and finishing.

The photos showing the step by step processes are beautiful full color as are photos of Christine's work and others. The book has 320 pages, 8 1/4 x 10 7/8 size.
