Knitters handy guide to Yarn Requirements $5.95 ||

Written by Ann Budd; author, Master Knitter and managing editor of Interweave Knits magazine. Printed on heavy, glossy stock 16 x 9 inches and folds to 4 inch wide by 9 inch so you can easily carry it with you shopping. The different items are grouped with the various finished size in inch and centimeter, children also shown by age, across the top with stitch gauge down the left side. Colored bars make it easy to find the right amount of yards needed for the item by size for each stitch gauge.

Standard yarn weights with needle size and stitch gauge are listed to help you choose the right stitch gauge to use. So helpful when you find that 'special' yarn or are getting yarn to knit for someone else.
